So in terms of supplements, some of the antioxidant supplements are curcumin, turmeric, vitamin E, vitamin C. And then we talk about foods that are good in terms of antioxidant content. We’re talking about generally fruits and vegetables. But fruits can be actually harmful in the big picture because fruits have sugar and sugar is not necessarily good, especially for our diabetic patients. So I generally recommend green leafy vegetables, which are rich in antioxidants to be a part of a healthy diet to reduce oxidative damage over time.
