What are some symptoms of heart murmurs? Sometimes there could be no symptoms. If we find that the murmur has benign and it’s an incidental finding with no clinical significance, you would have no symptoms you would not know otherwise. Other members that are more dangerous and that have clinical consequences, some symptoms would be shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, chest pain, difficulty running, or performing errands, passing out, fainting, legs swelling, weight gain, abdominal pain. The list goes on and on, but these are the most common symptoms of heart murmurs.
