share

Transcript

The medications that you may be required really depend on the cause of the heavy vaginal bleeding. Some of the medications that may be used in the first option include birth control pills or an IUD to help control the amount of bleeding that someone is having. And again, many women are able to really experience successful treatment of their symptoms. Iron supplements or Aleve or Advil may be used to help with anemia as well as the pain associated with the periods and hormonal treatment may also be used if your doctor thinks there’s a hormonal imbalance. Some other medication options that may be offered include a nasal spray that may be given to patients that have a bleeding disorder as a cause of their bleeding.
