Those who are most at risk include many different types of women with multiple conditions as I already mentioned. Some of the signs and symptoms of heavy vaginal bleeding are pretty obvious and fairly hard to ignore. Not that someone would ignore that, but most likely they may be not sure if the bleeding is abnormal for them. Heavy vaginal bleeding, again, lasts more than seven days, or if it’s a change from what you normally experience, or you start to change your pad or your tampon more than two hours, or have clots that are passing, it’s a good time to contact your healthcare professional or your OBGYN physician to get more information about what is normal for you.
