Patients who are best suited for arthroscopic repair of a labral tear, however, are typically younger in age. Typically 30s or below, who remain active in their sport and had this acute tear. This is treated by an arthroscopic hip surgeon and is typically performed on a Hana table that actually draws traction out of the joint and repairs that labrum with arthroscopic sutures.
