Joint Pain – Overview

The treatments for this are usually joint replacement therapy, which means you’re effectively capping the joint. It’s similar to a crowning of a tooth. You shave around the tooth and then you crown the tooth. For a knee, you will shave around the arthritic or the worn out conditions, and then you cap the knee and you now have a new knee, a total knee replacement. For a hip, you take out the arthritic piece of the hip and you replace it with implantable parts that are usually made out of plastics and metal, and that allows you to experience no longer any more pain that was caused by the arthritic or wear and tear condition.
