A therapist will help. And the therapist I’ve mentioned that we’re talking about, it can be a licensed mental health counselor, a social worker, a marriage family, therapist, psychologist, and psychiatrist. So any one of those groups of people within the mental health field can help treat the person with the narcissistic personality disorder. Now, with that said, what will the therapy actually look like? The therapy can be one on one, the therapist and the individual, but also having a family therapist, having your loved one be a part of the therapy to actually help with insight, to see how that person’s behavior can adversely affect the ones around them can also be helpful as well.
