Now, there isn’t a lab test or any type of x-ray per se, that will actually determine whether a person has a narcissistic personality disorder. If a person does have narcissistic personality disorder, will these people be cured? There really is not a cure for narcissistic personality disorder, but, the symptoms, the lack of empathy, minimizing the grandiosity, that can be better contained with treatment. So treatment does actually help with narcissistic personality disorder.
