We don’t… There isn’t like a biological or chemical test to see a narcissistic personality disorder. It’s more based on behavior. I think a lot of it may be looking at the way the person actually was raised, how they grew up, their environment, their values, what they hold important to them. I do feel that there may be correlations that people with a narcissistic personality disorder may have. Correlations such as being exposed to trauma, having a high exposure to anxiety, and these are coping mechanisms to underlie that fundamental problem. But as far as an actual chemical test that we use to determine whether a person has a narcissistic personality disorder, no, we do not have that.
