Let’s talk about psychosocial impact of obesity. The psychosocial consequences of being overweight or obese can include lower self-esteem and anxiety and more serious disorders such as depression and eating disorders such as binge eating may eventually lead to bulemia and anorexia. Obesity has debilitating effects on both physical and mental health and can lead to full blown mental illness as a result of poor self image and physical illnesses.
