Many of us are aware at this point of Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s is classified as a movement disorder, meaning that it severely affects the muscles and limbs that allow you to move. It seems to happen when your brain doesn’t produce sufficient amounts of dopamine, which is the chemical responsible for the ability to move smoothly. It appears to affect men more than women, and generally those who are 70 and above. However, it’s not limited to those criteria, it can really happen at any time to anyone.
