Peyronie’s disease can definitely affect your erectile function and erectile quality. The way to think about it is, each corporal body of your penis, the erectile body, has one main artery that supplies it. What happens is during Peyronie’s disease is the curvature to the penis is so severe, so significant, that sometimes there’s a kinking. Sometimes it’s such a severe strain that blood flow distal to that area of curvature is not as strong as it was before that curvature. Therefore that when that area is not getting good blood flow, the erectile function is somewhat compromised in that area. Ultimately resulting in erectile dysfunction and not a satisfying or pleasurable sexual quality of life.
