Transcript

Pheochromocytomas are a special type of tumor of the adrenal gland that over secrete a certain type of hormone called catecholomines, which you can think of as acting like adrenaline while they can occur outside the adrenal gland. Predominantly this is a tumor of the adrenal gland itself. It can cause high blood pressure. That’s out of control, difficult to treat with medication as well as other symptoms.
