Today, I’m going to provide education on plantar fasciitis. Plantar fasciitis is a common condition affecting approximately 2 million adults every year. Adults aged 40 to 60 are most commonly affected. Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the band of tissue, the plantar fascia, that runs on the bottom of the foot from the heel to the toes.
