People can take antibiotics without any difficulty. There’s a rare reaction called anaphylaxis, which is a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic or any drug. But again, this is very rare. Some people, when they take antibiotics, they have a sense of nausea, vomiting, perhaps diarrhea. And it’s hard to know if it’s related to the antibiotic or what else is going on in terms of your infection. So if there’s any question you should talk to your doctor and they may want to see you back in clinic for follow-up.
