Pneumonia – Recurrence

share

Transcript

Most people recover from pneumonia without difficulty. You don’t necessarily have a recurrent pneumonia, but you could have a partially treated pneumonia and the sense that you are treated for a certain pathogen, but there could be another pathogen present. And so that’s why it’s important to follow up with your doctor after you’ve been diagnosed, and you may need a follow up chest x-ray just to make sure that there’s no further evidence of pneumonia within your lungs.
