Pneumonia – Vaccine Side Effects

share

Transcript

Most people don’t have any side effects to the pneumococcal vaccine. When they do, the most common side effect would be soreness where the injection actually took place, a little redness, perhaps. There is a rare side effect called anaphylaxis where you have a severe allergic reaction. And that’s why at the doctor’s office or the pharmacy, when you received the vaccine, they have you wait for 10 to 15 minutes just to make sure that you’re safe. And then you’re not having a significant side effect.
