You know, the answer is this is a very new field of endeavor of research. So there’s very exciting research going on as a result of this NIH strategic plan that is looking into the compendium of factors that precision nutrition takes into consideration. So a person’s genetics, a person’s response to different foods, the health of the individual’s microbiome and all together, that information is compiled into a blueprint for how an individual person should be individually addressing nutrition just as though the physician was prescribing an individual’s medication regimen based on their health status. Happily, there’s a lot of great research going into areas that are important for individual’s health and for the public’s health. So things like obesity, metabolic syndrome and type two diabetes, which we know are truly epidemic in proportion. And we do have some medications that are quite helpful, but if we could take a more preventive approach to these chronic conditions, utilizing what we’re going to learn over the next 10 years about precision nutrition, we will be very effective in improving the health of individuals and populations.
