Sexual Health – Clitoris

I get the question of clitoral stimulation quite a bit. And I have a lot of patients who actually don’t even know where their clitoris is. So if you don’t know where your clirotis is, it’s very important to find it. And it’s very important to look on maybe on the internet or at some reputable sources for the location of your clitoris. And here’s why the clitoris is analogous to the penis. And the penis is the main male sex organ. It has most of the nerve and blood vessel innervation, which allows it to be the most sexual organ. It has the most sensation. So that is the organ that most men think is the most erogenous zone of their body. Now, the clitoris, although much smaller is, is developed embryologically when we’re being formed as the same as the penis. And so it has similar nerve supplies, similar blood vessel or vascular supply. And it is the most erogenous zone for most women. So having clitoral stimulation and having normal clitoral response is usually very important part of the physical sexual cycle. And so knowing where your clitoris is, and being able to stimulate your clitoris would be the same as a man knowing where his penis is and being able to stimulate his penis. So if we’re going to have a normal female sexual response, the clitoris is a vital organ.
