Another male sexual dysfunction are those men who have control problems over when they ejaculate. Some men ejaculate at the sight of a woman without clothes. It’s very frustrating. It’s called premature ejaculation. We define premature ejaculation by having an ejaculation typically under one minute that’s not under control of the man and that causes him bother and distress. Many millions of men have premature ejaculation. It’s actually more common as a sexual problem than erectile dysfunction, where we talk about erectile dysfunction all the time. We don’t have any FDA approved products for premature ejaculation at this point. We’re doing many research trials, trying to identify those medicines that really can help a man get control, but we haven’t yet had one that has crossed the finish line and gotten FDA approval.
