Tennis elbow is a very common ailment. You see it very commonly in patients who play tennis, but even more commonly in patients who are on the computer. Most patients who use a mouse on their computer all day on wind up using the same muscles that people use during tennis, and the Overuse Syndrome is called tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis. And those need to be treated appropriately for the condition that the patient comes in for. Whether be it injection therapy or bracing or other types of conservative management, they do need to be treated in a expeditious fashion to get back to work or to the sport.
