If a man loses a testicle very early in life, the impact on fertility is probably negligible. Studies are mixed however, with some scientific studies suggesting that there is a slight decrease in fertility in men, who’ve had a history of testicular torsion. Most urologists, however, feel that the impact of a prior torsion on fertility is probably not significant.
