Tinnitus – Subjective Tinnitus
Transcript

Others cannot hear your tinnitus if your tinnitus is subjective tinnitus, meaning it's only heard by you. Since tinnitus is a symptom of something going wrong, such as hearing loss, it's actually generated internally by our auditory system to signal us, to let us know that something's not right. There are rare cases of objective tinnitus in which others can hear it, but that is extremely rare.
