The area under the eye is very delicate and contains lots of blood vessels. This means it’s very prone to bruising, which is one of the main side effects of under-eye filler injections. You may also experience some slight swelling at the injection site, and you may find that to be common with bruising. You also might develop small lumps or nodules. These will typically disappear. Your treatment itself is relatively painless. Your dermatologist surgeon will use a topical or local numbing agent to erase any discomfort that an injection may cause.
