- Are you a Doctor?
Your doctor will first examine and mark the areas of injection on your face. They will apply a topical numbing solution to the under-eye area before cleaning it off and sterilizing the area. This will help reduce pain and keep infection rate low. Then your doctor will slowly inject the filler with a fine needle or a cannula to the under-eye area. This may gently be pressed on to help ensure that the filler is evenly spread. This entire process takes anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. And after that, the doctor may give you an ice pack to help with the swelling. After a short recovery period, you’ll be able to resume your regular activity.
