If you develop recurrent urinary tract infections, or if the infection does not respond to treatment, your doctor may order other tests to determine the cause of infection. These tests include an ultrasound, potentially to look for kidney stones, cystoscopy, to see inside the bladder or the urethra, and other imaging tests include a CT scan.
