Transcript

Vasculitis is known to have recurrences, also referred to as flares. Such reoccurrences could cause tissue damage. Being on long-term immune medication could help reduce such flares. Depending on the type of your vasculitis, your rheumatologist will help you guide in the long term treatment to avoid reoccurrences from the disease. Your return to normal activity depends on the organ involved and your ongoing treatment. Your primary care doctor and your rheumatologist will help you guide in making this decision.
