Transcript

Cardiologists usually oversee the treatment of patients with WPW, including specialists called electrophysiologists, who focus on the treatment and diagnosis of these arrhythmias. They will help you decide what treatment methods what will be best for you. I want to emphasize that not all forms of WPW syndrome are dangerous, nor do they need immediate treatment. If you’ve been diagnosed with the syndrome, but don’t have any symptoms, you’ll likely be monitored through regular checkups, a form of care called watchful waiting.
