Breast cancer primarily affects women, but both men or women can get it. Less than one percent is usually male breast cancer. One in eight women, believe it or not, will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Chances of getting breast cancer increase with age.

 

In 2021 alone, over 281,000 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women. And cancer rates are rising by about half a percent every year. 42,000 women unfortunately die every year as a consequence of their breast cancer diagnosis.
