Gallbladder Removal – Support Groups

share

Transcript

Fortunately, there is, in many diseases, there are so many ways that a treatment can go. In gallbladder disease, there is really only one. Whenever there is something of one, it usually means that it’s a good method and it usually means that it should lead to the resolution of the problem. So I’m sure there are forums for people to ask questions about the gallbladder disease, but once the gallbladder is performed and patient does well, there is really no additional support group. There are many other groups, for example, of people who have pancreatitis or groups of people who have chronic conditions such as Crohn’s disease. Generally speaking, that is not necessary for patients who have had a gallbladder disease or gallbladder removal or cholecystectomy.
